But I don't blame you, I used to be on a quest to exactly the same place, however, I didn't manage to find it...

And I would hazard to suggest that by asking the question: "how to find a girlfriend" that you are in exactly the same position. You feel your life would be significantly more enjoyable or even "complete" with the addition of a mildly attractive female?

To make it worse, all of the songs they sing on the radio trick you to think that the bullseye is right there, in the heart/legs of your supposed "true love".
